Positive: Great hotel and fantastic breakfast. Welcoming hosts who were kind enough to let me practice my French with them! Just a ten minute walk to the town centre (or about 20 min to the gondola) and bus stop just outside the hotel for the free shuttle bus to the town centre and gondola. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Val Joly and would definitely recommend. Merci beaucoup!

Negative: It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room, but it was easy enough to buy hot drinks from the bar downstairs, so this wasn’t a big problem.

Summary: Great small family run hotel.
