Positive: We stayed at Hotel Trianon Rive Gauche from 1st-4th December during our honeymoon, and overall had a really lovely experience! Although the standard check-in time is 3:00 pm, we reached the hotel around 9:30 am and were pleasantly surprised to be given an early check-in before 10:30 am, which was incredibly appreciated after a long journey. To our surprise, we were given a room with an Eiffel Tower view and were greeted with sweet treats in the room to celebrate our honeymoon - a very thoughtful and memorable gesture! The room itself was comfortable. The bed was a good size with a very comfortable mattress, and the heating was perfect for December weather. The bathroom was spacious by Paris standards, with excellent hot water and strong shower pressure. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. We didn’t try the breakfast at the hotel, so can’t comment on that. The location is excellent - right in the 6th arrondissement, walking distance from many major attractions and very well connected by public transport. The neighbourhood felt safe, charming, and authentically Parisian. We didn’t interact extensively with the staff, but in all our brief interactions they were sweet, polite, and helpful. Overall, despite it being a busy time of year, we had a very comfortable, warm, and pleasant stay, and the thoughtful touches made our honeymoon in Paris even more special. We’d happily recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again!

Negative: A couple of small points to note: there is no bottled drinking water provided in the room, and tap water isn’t marked as drinking water, so you need to fill water from the filter in the lobby everytime. Also, while having a lift in a Paris hotel is definitely a blessing, the lift here is extremely small - it fits only two people standing very close together, and with five floors, there can sometimes be a bit of a wait. That said, it was still convenient to have one.
