Positive: Location is sublime

Negative: It was recommended that we make a reservation at their Michelin Star restaurant in the welcome pack. We made a request which they didn’t acknowledge. On arrival we asked about our restaurant reservation and they told us the restaurant was closed. Finding another place to eat was easier said than done as most don’t take reservations and the hotel were short on recommendations. We were staying in November and were the only guests that night, so out of season I would expect sometimes they can’t open everything normally. However I would expect them to let us know in advance about the food situation, so we could make plans for eating out or staying elsewhere. Paying a premium price when you can’t eat there is not what I would have hoped for. On the plus side the staff were very welcoming and the room was very comfortable with lovely views over the harbour.

Summary: 7/10 but should have been 10/10 so a bit of a disappointment.
