Summary: The gite was spacious and comfortable. Best of all it remained cool day and night in temperatures of over 30c. The terrace was especially delightful and the setting is very peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped although the free-standing oven was less than satisfactory and difficult to control. There is a large (unfenced) grassed area which children would enjoy. There are interesting things to see in the area - don't miss the beautiful Romanesque church in the village. There are plenty of woodland walks and drives though these would be more pleasant without the large number of heavy lorries which thunder up and down even the minor roads. Josianne was most welcoming and efficient.
