Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The Restaurant was the saving grace to our visit as the food was good, and the service was very good.

Negative: The receptionist was on the phone when we arrived. She then said she had to deal with showing others wanting to see several rooms. Then another couple had a query, which she dealt with before dealing with us. This meant we were standing in reception for nearly 10 minutes before we got our room key. We were not impressed. Breakfast was OK, but the staff clearing tables was absent doing other things for long periods, so those staying had to wait for a cleared table, as we did ! Although we had asked for a quiet room, the accommodation provided was a long way both from reception and the restaurant. I had to carry a heavy case to reception and then the room which could have been avoided had the receptionist suggested we drive and park near the room. Poor management was the overall impression.

Summary: Disappointed.
