Positive: Location and setting were beautiful and close to drive to local attractions - bonifacio and port vechio less than 30 min drive Room was large and luxurious. Communal areas in hotel also very high end with good design

Negative: Restaurant food - it has its own restaurant which was beautiful but the food was mainly reheated and below average and therefore at the wrong price point - this is consistent with other reviews. I had meatballs with pasta and it was like a ready meal. The staff are lovely but because the hotel is small (less than 10 rooms) the bar isn’t always staffed so you have to go and ask for drinks etc again this probably just isn’t comparable with what you would expect at the price point Breakfast is an extra charge - not made fully clear so be careful to check and decided if worth it or not No obvious umbrellas round the pool - but they did have some down the side and there was some shade from tress by the pool - so this could have been more obvious but some of the other reviews saying no shade aren’t accurate

Summary: An absolute stunning setting and hotel, especially pool but the restaurant food lets it down
