Positive: Beautiful location right by a forest . 30 mins to walk to the centre or a few minutes easy to drive . Right next to a major sports stadia but no noise from that . Trams stop right outside the exit for ease of transportation . Bus and train stations in the centre of town . A taxi was just 15 euros from the town to the hotel late one evening when we had left our camper van at the hotel and walked into town . Arrived to a stunning view in town of the chateau in the sunset and evening light . Brasserie du theatre had lovely food and there is a restaurant on site at the hotel . Extremely friendly , kind and attentive , helpful staff at the hotel who accommodated our needs and assistance dog and gave us a surprise upgrade to a balcony room which was really lovely looking out into the woodland having coffee on the balcony . I just found the “fridge and coffee making machine “ , which I don’t usually use , but kettle a little low down for my back so being a bit more raised up would help . All facilities great and there is a gorgeous , quiet lounge with comfy sofas downstairs with lots of games and free coffee/ tea and a little fire on request . Very pleasant gardens to walk in or sit out and the woods to venture out for a walk to the centre of town . Much calmer than the centre of Paris but very easy to access that if you choose to . We loved it ! We came in April . Good value and a warm welcome .

Negative: Fridge and drinks machine / kettle to be higher for use . Charging USB sockets would be helpful . Mine struggled to charge . They helped me at reception .
