Summary: My husband and I spent a week in Dominique’s lovely garden house, which was immaculately clean, spacious, quiet and very comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen. The garden is truly an oasis. The AC was appreciated during a few hot days in Paris. Having a washer was a bonus, and the drying racks provided were handy. Dominique was very responsive to communications, very welcoming and provided lots of information on using public transit, etc. We arrived at Gare du Nord and took a taxi to her home, which I highly recommend unless you are familiar with the Paris transit systems. Cost was about 45 euros. Well worth it! There aren’t many restaurants nearby, but there are a Monoprix and a farmers market (Wed, Sat, Sun) very close by. Access to public transit is good, but note it is a ten or fifteen walk to the nearest bus, metro or tram. Once getting acquainted with the various transit options, getting around Paris and surrounding areas was quite easy. We’re both in our mid-70s and managed just fine. We highly recommend Dominique’s for your stay.
