Village house for up to 8 people on the basis of an old stone cellar completely renovated in spring 2019 located in Chéray, commune of St Georges d'Oléron isolated at the end of a dead end.
80 m² of living space on all of the 2 levels + 50 m² outside.
Large living room kitchen of approximately 35 m² with fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge / freezer, Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, coffee maker, new toaster ...) utility room utility room with washing machine and storage; Separate WC.
Living room + new 32 '' flat screen TV; bay windows giving direct access to the outside with terrace with Weber barbecue + plancha plate; no vis à vis closed stone walls.

Summary: Great week for a family with 2 kids (4 people), would be a bit crowded for more people. Good spot to explore the island, bakery, market halls and supermarket within walking distance is very handy. Beach not in walking distance, but accessible easily with car or bike. Cupboard or storage space in bedrooms to unpack clothes would be appreciated by future guests. When we arrived, house was not dirty as such, but not super clean either (a bit dusty, windows not cleaned, food left in the kitchen which had rotten). Given the fact we were charged 190 Euro extra for towels and end of stay cleaning, I hope the next guests will find a bit cleaner house than we did. Laurent was very helpful and prompt with any question we had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the lovely renovated cottage in this beautiful location. Thank you!
