This wonderful western home offers a warm country feel and a great mountain energy. The downstairs offers so many possibilities. There is a full kitchen fully stocked with all you need to cook, bake and enjoy preparing meals. There is a large, homey family space which can be used as two separate areas for one group to play cabin games, while others curl up in front of the wood burning stove and enjoy the over-sized comfortable leather couches and a good movie on the TV. There is a big master bedroom with a separate bath, allowing you to retire in comfort. Two more bedrooms offer additional sleeping space, while sharing a separate family room. These bedrooms, an accompanying bathroom and small living room can be closed off behind a dividing door, to allow privacy and the separate 2-bedroom suite.
Upstairs leads to even more space and delights. There is another full kitchen attached to a family room with a wood burning stove/fireplace and an opening couch. Connected to this room is one additional two bedrooms with their own bathroom.
Through the French doors you find another great living room which leads to two individual suites boasting their own bathrooms, private entrances, and access to all the fabulous decks on the back of the home.
This wonderful log trimmed home backs up to over 20 acres of wooded space allowing for walks, hikes, meditation and bird watching. The sounds, views and smells of the country surround and entice you to venture out into a great exploration of Julian's mountain wilderness. Perfect for family reunions, group retreats, corporate getaways, or just a little time with your family. There is a large propane grill inviting all to gather round and picnic, feast, or entertain. Most bedrooms and living rooms open onto decks allowing for enjoyment of the views and mountain air at any time of day or night. Completely private and natural.
I am available for anything you need but I like to give my guests the privacy that they deserve. I do reside in the property; however, I am invisible during all guest stays.

Summary: The 1st look at this rustic huge home was WOW!! Amazing. Right off the road 4 miles up from Julian. Just enough space for celebrating my birthday with all my family..9 adults and 11 grandchildren.. and did they love the 2 story spacious rooms and playing outdoors. There was a pool table, ping pong table, piano, fooz ball to keep everyone playing together. With 2 kitchens and plenty of cook ware our 5 families could keep their food and shared cooking for all of us. The home is lovely almost an antique museum with so many interesting objects and pictures around. We even got to see a herd of wild turkeys go thru the back yard. each family had their own space and we all enjoyed our time here. Plenty of seating, clean and nice soap in all the bathrooms. Communication was great... only we never did find the Welcome Book, but all the needed instructions were thru Vrbo. With all the towels and extra bedding.. everyone was happy and cozy. Had a thunderstorm Saturday night which was nice and much needed rain. Sunday was beautiful!! Weather was great thuys weekend. Exploring and being in nature was amazing. Thank you for hosting and hope to come back.
