This cozy oasis is located in the heart of it all, just minutes from exploring the famous Joshua Tree National Park, or perhaps looking to score great bargain deals at the Sky Village Marketplace.
Casita Coronado is the perfect retreat for those looking to kickback, unplug and starting slowing down to enjoy your vacation. We look forward to sharing the natural beauty the desert has to offer!
LIVING ROOM
Cozy up on the couch and watch your favorite Netflix show or movie on our flat screen TV or just look out the framing window at the beautiful scenery of cacti and desert oasis. Relax and soak in some of the smooth classics on the record player while you spend time with family and friends.
OUTDOOR SPACE
Enjoy a candlelight dinner underneath the beautiful starry night skies or enjoy the perfect setting for a cup of coffee at sunrise. There is a patio area, perfect for outdoor dining. The property also features a sitting area, and a propane grill available for the grill guru's among you.
BEDS
There are two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 people, brand new heat/ac units, room-darkening shades, full-sized closet and ceiling fans. Offering fresh linens and blankets provided so you can get a great night’s sleep.
BATH
The bathroom is off the main hallway, with a single sink, and shower. Included in your stay is shampoo, condition and body wash.
KITCHEN
Fully equipped kitchen with Samsung appliances; fridge, stove & oven, Keurig & all of your basic necessities to cook up a hearty meal!
PETS
We loves our furry friends and pets are allowed, but we do limit it to only one dog at this time. They should be left on a leash when outside and supervised at all times due the nature of the desert. Yard can be visited by all sorts of wildlife, so please be mindful.
*We charge an additional $55 pet fee.
CLEANING SERVICES
For extended guests we offer the option for an additional cleaning service ($110 fee) to ensure the homes continues to be maintained, offering you, a well kept home to continue to enjoy.
FIRE
Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no outside wood burning fire policy. If it is discovered that you have started an outdoor wooden fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire means your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked to leave.
WASHER/DRYER ACCESS
Garage has a washer and dryer available to guests that are staying with us for an extended period of 30 or more days.
A/C HEATERS
The house features three separately controlled air conditioners / heaters in each bedroom and the great room can be set individually to your specific comfort level.
GUESTS
You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.
SMOKING
Smoking inside is not permitted and will be charged +$100 cleaning fee if rule are not followed.

GUEST CHECK IN
You are invited to let yourself in upon arrival. The front door has an electronic lock for ease of access and the code will be provided upon the day of check in. The property is yours to roam and relax (except for the garage), please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Summary: I loved staying here. I worked remotely from the house for a month to escape the gray rainy winter in Portland, Oregon and the desert location did not disappoint! The location is great. It’s 5 mins from Rite-Aid, Gas station, Pizza, etc, but there are vistas from the living room window. It feels secluded and remote while being super convenient. And only a 15-min drive to the West entrance of the Park! The house is stylish, functional, and dog friendly. My pup, Enzo made himself right at home! There’s a picnic table, grill and fire pit in the side yard and a washer-dryer in the garage. Communication with Bree was a delight. Very prompt, clear and thoughtful. She responded with more photos when I had questions prior to booking and we corresponded as things came up during my stay. She offered to have a work desk set up for me— which was so kind and thoughtful! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place near the park. Can’t wait to come back !
