Positive: The apartment left a pleasant impression, you can feel the care taken for guests. The apartment is in a new developing area, in a new building on the second floor. It is stylishly decorated. Everything inside is new and there is all you need for living: microwave, a good new electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, nice dishes. There was also an iron and a hair dryer. Bed linen was snow-white without stains, towels also in good condition. The bathroom is quite big and comfortable, with a good shower cabin and hot water any time of day. To make the shower hot, you need to turn the handle toward the wall. The apartment is quiet, we didn’t hear neighbors at all, it felt like nobody was there. Do not expect a nice view — the windows face a fence and a factory. The area itself is calm, quiet, and without homeless people. The nearest metro station is the second-to-last stop on line 5 (red line). To the city center you need to go with transfers. From the metro there are two ways to reach the apartment: one not attractive, passing a construction site and a factory; the other way goes past an Ibis hotel and a KFC, straight to a bakery on the corner where the pastries are super delicious — highly recommend stopping there.

Negative: What we didn’t like: when we arrived the apartment smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We asked to check in earlier, they said it was possible but would cost €15. Our shuttle from the airport first dropped us in a very modern area with skyscrapers, so we stayed there until evening. The apartment is about 30–45 minutes by metro to the center with transfers, which can be tiring. Unfortunately, during our stay there was a strike and the metro didn’t work. We thought we would save money, but in the end spent more on taxis. From the Eiffel Tower to the apartment it was €35, from the apartment to Notre Dame €30, to the Arc de Triomphe €28, to La Défense €30. If you plan to use the metro, be sure to check if there are strikes or not.
