Welcome to ‘l'Ostalyne’, a character village house in LOZERE!
Enjoy a pleasant stay in a small character house of 60m² for 4 people in authentic stone on 3 levels in the heart of the village of ESCLANEDES.
Inside, on the ground floor, you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen area (4 gas rings, extractor hood, microwave, fridge-freezer, 1 classic electric coffee maker with universal filter and 1 Tassimo coffee maker) adjoining a cosy sitting area with television. On the 1st floor, you will find 1 bedroom with a double bed ‘la chambre rose’ (140X190cm) and a shower room with WC. A mezzanine offers a second bedroom, ‘la chambre bleue’, with a second double bed (140x190cm) and a sliding curtain rail to partition the room and maximise privacy.
The accommodation has a pellet stove and electric convector heaters. The stairs to the 2 floors of the house do not allow people with mobility difficulties to enjoy the accommodation.
The house has free parking for 2 vehicles in the village square. The house is attached to another house in the village. The entrance to the accommodation is separate.
Access to the accommodation is via a staircase and landing shared by the 2 houses. Access via the staircase does not allow people with mobility difficulties to enjoy the accommodation. The landing is not a terrace. It is a shared passageway that must remain freely accessible.
The house has no private exterior. At the foot of the house, on the village square, you will find shaded communal green spaces guaranteeing peace and quiet, with tables for eating and a petanque area. Barbecues and fires are not permitted.
Walking and cycling trails are directly accessible from the house. Nearby, by crossing the stone bridge over the Lot, there is a pretty, shady riverside park with a large green esplanade and plenty of play equipment for children.
The neighbouring village of Chanac, 2 km away, offers all the local shops you need (bars, restaurants, mini-market, bakeries, butchers, delicatessen, doctor, pharmacy and launderette). Throughout the summer, Chanac comes alive with its weekly markets and numerous festivities. You can take advantage of the heated municipal swimming pool from June to September (free in June and September) and the many leisure facilities (city stadium, tennis courts, playground, petanque pitch, etc.).
Esclanèdes is ideally situated at the crossroads between MENDE and MARVEJOLS, 10 minutes from the A75 motorway and 20 minutes from the Gorges du Tarn (St Enimie), 30 minutes from the Cévennes (Florac), 30 minutes from the Aubrac (Nasbinals) and 40 minutes from the Millau Viaduct.
