By the way, during the Summer, the Bassin de la Villette changes into a second Paris Plages (Paris Beaches). There, children and grown-ups play boules and pedalo on the canal and improve their tan comfortably installed on a deckchair or the sand under the welcome water sprays while sipping beer or Perrier... It's like you're on the Riviera! (Well, I might be exaggerating a bit...!)
