Summary: This was our first trip to the Loire Valley and we chose this place based on the photos and description of the apartment. What we did not realize is that it's a bit far from many of the places we wanted to see and during the days we were there, which were a Sunday - Tuesday, many restaurants are closed, so not many dining options. We ended up cooking for ourselves one night. The other item not apparent from the pictures and description is that the outdoor area, which is very nice, is not on the same level as the apartment. The patio is on the ground floor, then there is a tight spiral staircase up to the living, dining, and kitchen area. Then another spiral staircase up to the bedrooms. So you just need to be aware of this when it comes to hauling luggage upstairs. The beds and furniture was comfortable. But there were not any bath towels available. We were provided extra hand towels for this reason and the towels are not very thick or soft.
