Summary: We visited Fontenay to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary with our family and friends. Over the week we stayed, there were 12 of us. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and an enormous amount of space. The children spent a lot of time in the swimming pool or roaming the large estate. The house, both outside and inside, is just what you would expect from the photos. It comes with a working barbecue, which is handy for a communal meal. There is a well stocked local supermarket only three minutes' drive away and Bourges and Nevers are also interesting places to visit within a 40 minutes drive. So if you want to get away from it all with the family, I can highly recommend Fontenay.
