Summary: The property was amazing for our group of 2 families, as we enjoyed and explored the greater Bordeaux area. Helene was an excellent host and offered to arrange a number of in-home experiences including a private meal cooked by a local chef, massages, horseback rides, etc. The pool was lovely and we found our stay to be very comfortable. It did take a bit of driving to get in and out of Bordeaux city, and there was always traffic during commuting hours. The property is very rustic and charming for a stay in the french countryside. You definitely need a rental car to explore outside the property. We found Helene to be very responsive and lovely to interact with on the few occasions when we had to reach out to her. Our children (ages 6 and 8) said their stay at this property was their favorite of all our European spots during our trip this summer.
