The Gîte de la Lusette is an excellent starting point for visiting the various sites of the Gorges du Tarn. Located in the village of La Malene in the heart of the Gorges, the Gîte, a multi-hundred year old house transformed into a Gite offers you the charm and comfort of authentic houses.

Character house in the most beautiful part of the village. The Gite de la Lusette can accommodate from 1 to 5 people, it is located 100 meters from the Tarn.
The Gite consists of a living room, upstairs a large vaulted master bedroom and a small room for 'pitchouns'.
Two cellars allow you to easily store bikes, fishing rods, etc ...
Due to its central location, the Gite de la Lusette allows you to easily reach the Aven Armand but also the Dargilan cave, the Vulture House or The Wolf Park of Ste Lucie. The Barques departures by the boatmen of La Malène or Canoes for the most beautiful part of the Gorges 'Les Detroits' are 100 meters from the Gîte.
In addition I have been working as a tourist boatman for 15 years (already!).

Summary: The house was perfect for us, it was superbly clean with very comfortable beds and can easily sleep 5 people. It has a very well equipped kitchen and a lot of character. It is situated right next to all the restaurants, shops and the beautiful river with all its attractions and activities is just a stonethrow away. Eric, the owner, looked after us very well. We absolutely loved every minute in La Malene and would love to come again.
