Summary: We arrived to a very welcoming reception from the gite owners. We were very pleasantly surprised by the stunning modernised gîte with a beautiful private garden including its own moat, with resident fish and frogs. The site was well equipped for our stay and immaculate. The location of the gîte was in a village with a mini market and boulangerie within walking distance which was ideal for lazy mornings and a lovely lake. A short drive away was the pretty town of Beaugency along the banks of the Loire river, and the cities of Blois and Orleans were close by. Overall, a fabulous base for a relaxing holiday with a super friendly host family.
