Summary: We arrived late, around 23:00, and were nearly scuppered by the faceless check-in - I didn't have a bank card with me. Fortunately there was a QR code in another location that allowed us to check in and pay the additional €2.20. We then got into our room and were overwhelmed by the stench of cigarettes. Then as we were getting the kids to bed, one of them spotted something crawling on the ceiling. It turned out to be a cockroach, which I was able to remove using one of the cardboard cups provided. We thought there might be two more, then they turned out to be the bloodstains of previously swatted insects (or something similar). It should have been easy and convenient, but those two events spoiled an otherwise just fine one night stay.
