Summary: Arrived at hotel at 14.10 to find hotel closed and a note on door saying “closed until 17.00” we called a number left on the door and after pleading with the lady she returned 20 mins later. We checked in and were charged a few euros more than that stated on the booking. We were so tired after driving from the uk we just paid and went to the room. On a positive note the restaurant next door is excellent. There is also a very good wine shop one door along from the restaurant.
