Summary: The photos and description of this flat were dated at best. Unfortunately they were from a much better time of this flats existence. To start, the flat has been both renovated and painted since the photos were taken, and this wasn’t done recently. Really, the only positive about this flat was the view. The flat sustained water damage months prior to our arrival. In a WhatsApp message the host confirmed that the water damage occurred nearly 1 year ago in September. The host did not acknowledge or share this damage until the morning of our check in, citing that the insurance company had backed out of completing the repair. A repair that was allegedly supposed to be completed in July. We booked this flat May 1st, far before the work was supposed to be started, allegedly. The ceilings were literally falling down while we stayed there. My daughter’s suitcase had chunks of paint and drywall in it from the ceiling. The host provided each guest with one musty-smelling towel for a week’s stay. There were no cleaning agents(empty dish soap, dirty sponge, no dish tabs, laundry soap), no waste bin liners, about 1/4 roll of toilet tissue and most of the dishes were dirty with what looked like dried scrambled egg. The baseboards were pulled away. Many of the doors were missing the latch, so the only way to keep them closed was to lock them. The locks were not maintained so my family would get locked in rooms regularly. There was no guest packet with local info or WIFI info. Disappointed.
