This first floor flat, also accessible by a lift, is situated 150m from the beach, around the corner from bars, restaurants and cinéma, and 200m away from the centre of town (La Couarde).
The flat is a duplex and has been fully refurbished , with new flooring, furniture, bedding, appliances and decorations.
The ground level features a tiled floor and includes a hallway, bathroom, separate toilets, living room with a fully equipped open kitchen with 2 zone induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, multi-function oven, Nespresso coffee-maker, filter coffee machine, kettle and mixer
The bedroom is a loft conversion on the first floor of the flat, and has 2 single beds (80*190) which can be joined together, wooden floors, a window looking out into the living room and a Velux window above.
Very confortable for 2 people, it has the possibility of sleeping up to 4 using the sofa-bed (with a Bultex mattress 140*190) in the living-room.
The flat comes with an allocated parking space, access to the swimming pool and to the other amenities of the complex, including a bike shed.

Summary: The location is perfect and we rarely used a car. The beach and village centre were minutes away on foot. There was a bus stop nearby to access the rest of the island and cycle hire shops galore. The apartment was as new and tastefully furnished. The owners provided everything we needed and more, such as a dishwasher and coffee machine. As it was exceptionally hot, we would have appreciated a fan or air conditioning. The pool was clean With plenty of loungers. The Ile de Re is not to be missed for beaches, seafood and sunshine.
